Tiling

Tiling in Luxembourg: supply, showroom & professional installation

In short

JP Home Concept supplies and installs quality tiles throughout Luxembourg. Our Ingeldorf showroom displays over 1,000 references — floor, wall, large format, wood effect, outdoor — and our tilers handle the installation, from substrate preparation to the final grout line.

A large showroom and a wide choice

Nothing replaces handling the material yourself. On a screen, two beige tiles look identical; in your hand, the differences in grain, sheen and colour temperature are obvious. That is exactly why we built a showroom of several hundred square metres in Ingeldorf, in the heart of the Nordstad, two minutes from Ettelbruck and Diekirch.

You will find over 1,000 references there, displayed on large panels that let you judge a tile at its true scale — decisive for 60×120 formats and above, which are impossible to assess from a 10 cm sample. The collections cover every style and every budget, from solid entry-level porcelain to the signature series of our Italian and German partner brands.

An adviser guides you through the selection: how the material suits the room, slip resistance for a bathroom or a terrace, setting out, quantity and wastage calculations, grout colour. You leave with a coherent selection, not a list of product codes.

The tiles we supply

Every room has its constraints: moisture, foot traffic, underfloor heating, frost exposure. Here are the families we supply and install most often, with the use each one answers.

Floor & wall tiles

The basis of any project. We select coordinated floor and wall series to create visual continuity, with the technical ratings matched to how the room is used.

Porcelain & ceramic

Full-body porcelain for heavily used floors and wet rooms, ceramic for bathroom and kitchen walls where light weight and decor choice matter most.

Large format tiles

Slabs in 60×120, 120×120 or 120×278 reduce the number of grout lines and visually enlarge a space. Installation demands perfectly flat substrates and specific tooling: this is specialist work.

Wood effect

The warmth of wood with the resilience of ceramic. Ideal in bathrooms, kitchens and over underfloor heating, where solid parquet would be a problem.

Stone, concrete & marble effect

Polished concrete look for a contemporary interior, marble for an elegant bathroom, natural stone for an entrance or a terrace — without the upkeep of the original materials.

Outdoor & terrace tiling

Slip-resistant, frost-proof slabs, available in 20 mm thickness for pedestal installation. We often coordinate the terrace with the indoor floor to visually extend the living space.

Mosaic & shower tiling

Mosaic for niches, walk-in shower floors and any area where the fall requires a flexible format. Here, the choice of grout and waterproofing matters as much as the tile itself.

Professional tile installation

A beautiful tile badly laid is still a badly laid tile. Most of the quality is decided before the first tile goes down: checking and preparing the substrate, levelling compound to correct flatness, priming, and in wet rooms a tanking system applied properly.

Then comes the setting out. We agree with you on the starting point, the alignment of the joints and how the cuts are handled, so that full tiles fall in the visible areas and cuts land in discreet corners. Straight, brick bond, diagonal or herringbone: the choice changes the feel of the room and the quantity of material required.

The details do the rest: trim profiles rather than approximate mitre cuts, even grout lines in the right shade, silicone in internal corners and at material transitions. We protect the space, remove the debris and hand back a clean site — a point our clients bring up consistently.

  • Substrate checking, preparation and levelling
  • Tanking systems in wet rooms
  • Setting out agreed with you before laying
  • Straight, brick bond, diagonal or herringbone
  • Careful trims, grout lines and silicone work
  • Protected site, cleaned down, debris removed

Supply only, or supply and install

Both options exist. You can buy your tiles at the showroom and have them laid by the tradesperson of your choice: we work out the quantities and provide the right adhesives and trims, along with the manufacturer's installation guidance.

You can also entrust us with both — supply and installation — and have a single point of contact, a single quote and a single party responsible if anything goes wrong. That is what most of our clients choose, especially when the tiling is part of a wider bathroom or renovation project.

We also lay tiles you have not bought from us, subject to checking their quality and compatibility with the substrate.

See your tiling in 3D before work starts

Choosing a tile from a display panel is one thing; picturing it across 25 m² of living room or in a complete bathroom is another. Our photorealistic 3D planning shows you the final result — format, shade, laying direction, grout — before the first tile is fixed.

This is often the moment clients adjust a detail: a larger format, a lighter grout, a different setting out. Far easier to do on a render than on site.
